Bringing a Phone |
Phillips Exeter
Academy maintains telephones located throughout campus for free internal
and local calling and assigns individual voice mailboxes to students and
the employee community. The Academy voice network is available 24 hours
a day. Use of a voice mailbox and individual telephone is a privilege the
Academy makes available. Members of the community are expected to use these
services responsibly. Abuse of the Academy's equipment, services, policies,
or any form of telephone fraud will not be tolerated and may result in disciplinary
action.
The network of voice lines in dormitory rooms has been designated for voice use only; a parallel data network is available for digital access to online services. For a complete statement of the Academy's networking policy and its application to phones and voice mail, please refer to the Acceptable Use Policy found in the E-Book. |
