The Academy faculty, with input from Academic and Administrative Department Heads, Technology Committees, and Principal Staff, adopted the following Technology Mission Statement:

At Phillips Exeter Academy, we encourage the use of technology as a tool to enhance the educational experience and to amplify and strengthen Harkness teaching. We promote the use of technology to expand communication, knowledge, research and productivity among all members of the school community and to link the Exeter community with the constantly changing outside world.

The Academy endeavors to provide equitable access to technology for students and access for faculty and staff based on programmatic needs. We support training that fosters the use of technology. We are committed to the community's ethical use of information, resources and equipment. The Academy also seeks to stimulate and support ongoing research and development of academic and administrative applications.
